ABOUT ARDEN ACADEMY

Arden Academy, an inclusive and special needs school was founded when Leandra, a passionate teacher and remedial therapist, felt the need to create an all-inclusive educational environment for non-neurotypical and neurotypical students. Furthermore, this safe, stimulating, and nurturing atmosphere would enrich every student’s educational experience, fostering acceptance, understanding, respect, and collaboration between students and staff, enduring beyond Arden Academy’s walls.

Leandra, along with her team at Arden Academy, an inclusive special needs school, developed tailored programs for each student’s abilities. Her efforts fostered a community where all students can succeed, regardless of their differences or challenges.

From Humble Beginnings

“Every moment is a fresh Beginning.” – T. S. Eliot

In 2017, Leandra van Der Veen, a qualified and experienced Remedial Therapist and Teacher, founded Arden Academy. With her vision, the school provides learners with an individualized, practical, and fun-filled learning experience, making it a refreshing alternative to the outdated and rigid school teaching methodology.

All Arden Academy teachers, qualified professionals, nurture children’s growth. Regardless of learning challenges, students learn at their own pace. Classes have a maximum of 10 students in Arden Baby (6 weeks – 2 years), Arden Junior (3 – 6 years), Arden Primary (7 – 12 years), and Arden High (13 – 19 years). Our spacious premises enable future growth and exciting options.
